Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is Natural Gas transformed into liquefied form and maintained at -160 ° C in cryogenic tanks. During the liquefaction process, its volume is reduced by 600 times, allowing you to store a large amount of energy in a small space.
LNG has great potential for use both in the civil (industrial and domestic uses) and as fuel for maritime and land transport.
LNG is a low environmental impact product: resets particulate emissions and significantly reduces CO2 emissions.
Under suitable temperature conditions – around -160 ° C, it can be stored in the liquid state in special containers and transported anywhere, even in areas not reachable by the methane network
LNG has great potential for use both in the civil (industrial and domestic uses) and as fuel for maritime and land transport. For this reason the Goldengas Group has already built some LNG roadworks and is able to produce LNG facilities and supplies throughout Italy for both automotive and industrial use.

Like the Brindisi station which is equipped with a GNL fuel distribution system, this is the first service station to supply liquid and gaseous GNL in Puglia, and is the one that is located to the south of Italy. The station will be supplied by Goldengas s.p.a. by means of cryogenic autobots. This facility will allow fleets of LNG powered vehicles to travel from Piedmont to Puglia and return.

By November, a new service station with a LNG facility in San Casciano Val di Pesa (Fi) will be opened by November.

Another great step for the development of sustainable mobility, which is a strategic hub for a green economy.
